Bag o'Bags FREE Pattern

During the month of April we had our pattern testers busy with this lovely pattern. They did a great job and we are ready to share it with yall!

The Bag o'Bags is created using Plarn. Plarn is "yarn" that is created from plastic bags that you can get from just about any grocery store. The Bag' o' Bags pattern requires at least 30-35 plastic bags. If you make one please tag us! 1. So other people can find the pattern.

Here is what you will need:

30-35 plastic bags or 4 weight yarn

Size 6.5mm hook (K)

Scissors


How to Make Plarn* (refer to pictures)


-Straighten out a plastic grocery bag. -fold long ways (hotdog) twice

-cut off the ends (the closed part and the handles of the bag) -cut 1 to 2 inch strips.

-loop the strips together

*Plarn is a type of yarn (plastic yarn=plarn) made from cut up strips of plastic grocery bags, you can find tutorials on how to make Plarn on youtube and across the internet. The LARP Faeries also has a pinned video on TikTok about Plarn. Feel free to refer to the pictures included in this pattern to make Plarn, if you’re having a hard time absolutely reach out to us!
